Looking to pump up your Pinterest account in October? Here is what you should be pinning.
Hey yall! Today was a very exciting day at our house. My kids had to wear jackets to school this morning! (Gasp!) It was 58 degrees when we left the house so they both had on light sweaters. It was almost 75 when I was driving back home after dropping them off, but we enjoyed the 15 minutes of cool fall weather nonetheless.
Today’s topic – what you should be pinning for October
Have you scrolled through Pinterest lately? It’s like a pumpkin bomb went off in my feed. It’s pumpkin desserts, pumpkin drinks, pumpkin breakfasts and pumpkin decorating ideas. That can only mean ONE THING! It’s pumpkin season! Or fall. Whatever you want to call it. Besides ALL THINGS PUMPKIN here is what you need to be pinning NOW:
- Halloween – costumes, makeup tutorials, party ideas, snacks, decorating
- Thanksgiving – turkey, sides, drinks, tablescapes, kids crafts (this one is SUPER popular!)
- Christmas – recipes, Advent ideas, homemade gifts (BIG!), tree ideas, kids activities
- New Years – drinks, party games, countdown ideas
Basically it’s holiday pinning. Get your best pins out NOW. I know it may seem early to be pinning Christmas and New Years, but they need a little time to marinate. Let people see them and pin them. Keep pinning your best pins and as the pin count adds up more and more people will see them. Start early, stay consistent and bring your best pins. Easy peasy pumpkin squeasy.
